Why would a male teacher often tease me in front of others but also care about me when no one's here?

Well. He's my teacher and he often asked how do I feel about his class but he never asked others. He smile when he saw me even though he just scolded some students. When he walked pass by, even though I didn't do anything, he would say "good girl " to me. Once I was just holding a book to read, like standing beside the desk at recess, he walked pass by and he said "nice posture, I love the way u stand, so elegant " When he write example sentences on the board, he must include my name and make fun of me. When we're having quiz, he would walk beside me and pick up the books of mine on the floor to read. He had once said to the whole class that the fun fact about me is my legs are so reddish. This makes me feel he likes me and I like him becuz he cares about me. Is this real love? Does he like me or just nothing?

But then I am just 15 and he's 30. Is he way too old? I mean I like young guys but I don't know why I have got some feelings on him...

He's an adult, he is just preying on young women, in the form of his students.

BEWARE. Teachers like this are really, really good at manipulating students.

One of my teachers in high school was weird. It used to bother me so much that I switched out of one of his classes, (I had him twice). He realized I didn't like him because of his over friendliness, and used to give me a hard time, by purposely making fun of me and stuff. Or saying I was really quiet, and wouldn't talk to anyone.

I put up with it for the term, and then never had to see him again, thank God. But there was something really weird and creepy about him; even one of my friends, (who he was even more 'overfriendly' towards), realized this.

And to add @kittycatt119 whom I agree with totally, the reason teachers like this never get called out on things, is because the girls whom they target never tell on them. They choose who they target well, (people whom they know are likely to not complain).

So it could very well be you're not his first target, and there have been others too.

He's not teaching me this year but then he asked me to help with his school magazine and debate. He's one of the advisor for that two. Originally we need to interview but then he invited me to join and help him. I said OK and then he put my name through without any interview... should I beware of him? He still have a chance to teach me later on bc he's an English teacher

YES BEWARE OF HIM.

It is weird that he is making exceptions for you, that is not professional of him, and it shows that he's trying to make you feel as though he's a good guy, so you can trust him. DON'T.

And if you can try to switch classes, definitely do so, if he can be your teacher later on.

Plus, trust your gut instinct. You know, as a girl, when someone is looking at you with interest, you just know through your gut.

I can tell from your description this guy's intentions are wrong; what kind of a teacher goes out of his way to tell a student to join his extra curriculars? The kind of teacher that's hoping to spend time with her outside of the classroom when she's less vulnerable.

My teacher who would be 'overfriendly,' with my friend, would have the same habit of singling her out, and making her feel special. It was really weird, he even expected her to do push ups for coming late... weirdo. Creepy weirdo.
