Is my friends with benefits testing me to see if I'll text?

My friends with benefits hasn't texted me in 3 days. Is he testing me? Lol before anything I'd like to say that I don't make any effort to see my friends with benefits and I usually respond to his text hours late. I've never initiated a text. He ALWAYS text me first. If I promise to him a day, if he doesn't text me that day I won't see him. This is the way I've always been with him to avoid getting feelings. He hasn't texted me in 3 days, and he's only seeing me, you think he went bye bye? Lol or is he testing me?
