I compliment my crush on his looks but he doesn't compliment me?

I know he likes me (we haven't said the words yet). He is on the shy, inexperienced side (both of us have never been in any relationships). But I have told him he looks great, would look great in a certain article of clothing, etc and he has never told me I look nice, pretty or anything! I am not vain it's just it is confusing me.

Hi. I'm not too sure but perhaps he's too shy right now. Maybe he is waiting to become a bit closer to you, and he will probably compliment you soon. If he shows subtle signs that he likes you, but never compliments you, it probably could even mean that he's playing hard to get. Maybe he doesn't want to tell you what you wanna hear from him.. this could be done to make you eager or to leave you wondering why he doesn't compliment you. If i were you, i would probably stop complementing this guy and act a little unavailable at times. This would make him want you more and he would probably try harder to persuade you by stepping out of his comfort zone. However, make sure not to overdo it. Be unavailable at times and not every time.. also, make him a little jealous by hanging around a bit with other guys. Again, don't overdo this or he may think you're not into him... just my opinion

Did he say thanks? If not he was probably weirded out, keep being outgoing and maybe throw him onto the stage (not literal). He'll crack his shell soon.
