What it means if a guy gives a girl ''bro hug''?

I'm married and my wife does not like me hugging and kissing other women at work but where I work, it is very common for men-women to exchange hugs all day. I think its very Latin. Many times, the women go for the hug AND the kiss but I play it such that I do not kiss and just give a hug. Does that leave a feeling to the girl as if I gave a bro hug?

Sorry - just trying to relate my situation to the question because sometimes I see an odd expression on the women's face.
