Haha don't think much of it. They do it because they know it is something special and although you two may deny it is nothing more than just a good friendship, they struggle to see that because they don't have anything similar and it is a rare thing.
And it has been said by the ladies who have posted, it's also just what guys do haha, we give each other shit about thigns like this, all for laughs tho, nothing to be worried about at all :)

It's not bad, its just seen, for a reason I don't understand, as weakness for guys to show emotion. It is beyond me but that is the general consensus, sadly
Hopefully the Bloke in question is more than that and realises such views are bullshit and acts accordingly
