Why does he get so annoyed at his friends for teasing us?

I recently just joined a friend group of mostly guys and the rest of them are always teasing my crush and I for liking each other. Today he completely shut them down and told them to stop, and his tone was serious. Does this mean he doesn't like me in that way at all? I feel like he was really sick of it. Sorry if this is a dumb question lol

it means he was tired of them making fun of you and him, take in consideration they are teasing both of you but if it persists its ridiculing both of you. Some people feel insulted when teasing goes on for too long or goes too far.
