Apparently, his friend was repating every word my S/O was saying to me on the video call.
Why would they be making fun of him for talking to me?
Its what guys do. I think girls do it to. Its a buddy thing. Make fun of the great things you have in life. You clearly are a great thing in his life. And you are most likely not pissing anyone off. its just an exaggeration. And take it this way. Even if it where true he choose to piss them off anyway just because you are more important.
Joking around tends to be teasing but its all in good fun.
Years ago our crew got a little "pep talk" about joking around. The very good question about why does it always have to be negative came up. That really got us all thinking. At first we struggled to joke in a positive way. But after a while it became easy.
"Oh no here comes Bill, Now we are going to look like a bunch of lazy loafing good for nothings next to him" - a twist on negativity.
"Why do suits always look so happy when you put one on?"
Oh no, I never pissed off anyone, LOL. His friend pissed him off. I don't mind younger. However, he's muuuuch younger and if he didn't pursue I would have never entertained it. I doubt he got thatvpissed at his friend but just told me he was peeved.
Just guys being stupid
So it's just between them.

Short answer? He allows it.
This could've been handled differently. On a fundamental level, guys are going to tease each other. Some are genuine, others not so much. But if it to the level that it is "pissing him off" He could confront the issue right there vs. sending you a text about it.
It sounds like there are no boundaries set there. He could've not taken the video call right there, he could've excused himself.
The barber friend could've bumped him out of the seat and cut the next head while he's on that call. It could've been handled differently.
But nothing I'm typing changes the fact that he's inviting the teasing. He can also end it.
Also, mental note for you - he just gave a clue into how he handles things.
Be safe and good luck.
Huh what? He wasn't in the barber seat. He was just chiling and his friend was just shadowing his words as he was cutting the head of my S/Os little nephew. I don't know what happened after. He was just venting to me.
Typically, you don't see older ladies go with younger men. My mom is exactly a year and 24 days older than my dad, she's 2/1/56, he's 2/25/57
Happily married 35+
They're likely just giving him a hard time, just to give him a hard time
That's so beautiful.
No prob.
that's just what some guys do to be funny...
and I don't really think that age difference matters here either, it would still happen with or without
Some people think it’s funny when an older girl dates a younger guy (not so much the other way around yeah I know it’s sexist).
I don't think they know that.
Huh. Then unless you were being like really sexual I don't know why they were making fun of you.
They weren't making fun of me. What happened is in the question details.
They were teasing him about you? I guess I don’t understand what you mean. What were they saying?
He was talking to me and his friend was copying every word he said.
That’s making fun of you. Or him. Or both of you.
They were making fun of him
I don't know why they tease him about you
