Why he acted so weird around me?

I liked one man. He is 35 y. o and I am 27. He always acted weird around me. He was able to talk to everyone but me. Avoiding eye contact and as soon as he sees me he started swaying from side to side. He also remembered details about me and drinks which I like. I didn’t tell anyone about my feelings and tried to mirror his actions, because I thought that he is avoiding me. After couple of months his friends asked me why I am not talking to him or not asking guestions and somehow teased me about him. (They are in their late 50, so not teenagers ) After all of that I thought that he might like me, but is shy. I decided to ask him out and told about my feelings. He answered that he never had any romantic feelings and he has a girlfriend. For so many months he or his friends never mentioned her. Why then he acted so weird and nervous around me?

Who is "he"? Just some random guy or classmate or? We are not mind readers here. There is not way for us to know why he went cold on you. More importantly he has a girlfriend so what does it matter? If I had one guess that would be the reason that he is acting different. He is in a relationship and doesn't want to interact with you anymore. Just a question. You are 27 years old but your friends with people in their late 50s? I mean I guess there is nothing wrong with it but it seems odd. Just leave the guy alone. I think it is apparent that he doesn't want to talk to you anymore because he has a girlfriend.

He probably does like you or at least attracted to you but he is loyal to his girlfriend so he avoid you. Or he doesn't like the age difference, some don't
