Why did my crush open my snapchat and not reply?

My crush and I snapchatted so greatly a week ago exactly to this day and for so many hours sending up to 200 in total, everything was perfect. All through out the week he was sending signs of liking me, such as turning red, looking for me, staring at me, turning around to look at me. Things like that and more. We are best friends on snapchat now because of a week ago.

He looked at my snapchat stories today too. Today, I sent one and he opened it and didn't reply. All I said I was "hi".
Did I do something or how does this make sense in the guy world?
I just wanted to talk to him and he opened it and didn't reply. Why?
He also opened the snapchat a minute after I sent it.

This happened to me with an ex boyfriend, when we first started talking my friend told me to say hey to him, he was showing all signs of liking me and we’d talked a lot before but he left me on read. While we were dating I asked him why and he said because he didn’t know what to say and that he was nervous and trying to hide his crush on me or whatever. Also if you sent the snap as a picture I NEVER respond to pictures that say hey because I assume the sender sends them to everyone

He could've been busy... maybe working? Or studying... or just where he couldnt reply... maybe he tried and lost single and didn't realize... or he might not like they way he look and thought he would do it later and maybe got busy and forgot. I don't think there's any need to worry.

Maybe he thought that he wasn't the only one you got the messege. In my experience there were many girls who would just send a photo on snap and just say "hi" and apparently i wasn't the only one who got it so i dont bother replying to one when i see it

So, the same thing happened to me. Me and my crush spoke for 4 nights all like 4 hours each. He was telling me he found me fit and always had done. He even told his friends that. He was sending like 5 kisses on the end of each text and made me feel like I was something special. I had a crush on this boy for like a year. He started to speak to me in school and he was the first to make conversation. Until I messaged him “hey x”; he opened my message and didn’t reply to me. Point to be noted that, if you show too much interest guy can loose his interest if he has too many options. So, yes speak to him, don't start strong. If he does not respond likewise, move on. It can be hard, but that would be the best course if action.

Its a mind game. He wants to see if he can win over your emotions. Common girls would call him back on this and start to make reproaches and teach him what to do or be needy by asking him to reply back.
What YOU could do is to ignore it and next time he texts you, you tell him that use chat platform is for chatting = speed, and suggest him to communicate via e-mail from now on and whatever he quickly responds after this, you ignore it.

I find social media and texting so unauthentic man.
