My ex called me, "my love", what could it possibly mean?

My ex never called me "my love" not even once since we were together. He would just call me bae, babe, hun, sweety. When i send him a kissy emoji telling him to have fun after declining his invitation, he said, "thanks my love." Does it mean anything?

The break-up wasn't because of anything serious. It was more about complications with me so we decided we're not good for each other atm. He told me he wanted to be friends still. He text me to hang out for drinks once in a few blue. Whatever it is it seems like he still want me in his life. He keeps fighting to have me in his life so he contacts me here and there. Oh that i know of he's single

On whatsapp he just changed his prof pic eith him and the celebrity Drake. For some odd reason i feel that was intentional because he only gets on whatsapp for me and whenever I'm on whatsapp and exit, he exit one min after. He done this numerous of time.
