When he says "lets hang out sober"?

friends with benefits for a while then asked me on a date a month later then weird things happened then we started talking again. We got into an argument about communication. I told him I needed more consistency and he told me he hates texting but a few days later he texted me which meant a lot to me. A week later he came up to me and said hi and then he was like tell me when you're leaving so I said ok. I was a bit drunk and then I came up to him and told him I was leaving and he was like "ok we should hang out when you're sober though and not hook up like we usually do" He offered to walk me home and everything which was nice but we didn't hook up like we always do. I'm kind of hurt but I dont know what to think of it and he was like when are you next going out and everything. He wasn't with anyone else and he wasn't going back with anyone so is this a good thing that he actually wants to hang out with me sober and not hook up? This is the first ttime he's said something like that and not go home and hook up with me. Shoudl I text him in a couple days asking him to hang or what do y'all think?

^if he REALLY hates textin (and didn't use it just as an xcuse)... then sure it means a lot.. but wot bugs me's how many times u've been "in-out"... hope not many at least :)

anyway... he was pretty much clear actually... he said he didn't wanna hang out wid u when u were drunk... coz he'd feel he was takin advantage of u... well this wot i believe he meant actually...
