Escapist Boyfriend, what to do?

We have known each other from aa long time but we ar in relationship for 8 months now. Everything was god t first. All I wanted was to be high with him. And that is what goes wrong. He just escapes all the worries by just passing out on anything he canget his hands on. He does not bother to ask me what is on my mind when I dont message him. He says all kinds of things to me, shares everything but when I try to do the same, he asks me to keep mum as my "whinning" is spoiling his high. There are times when I was wrong I agree. But I just dont know what to say him when he says really mean stuf to me and laugh it off like a joke. I just had a fight now, and he has not tried to even talk to me. And I saw him roaming out with his friends with no worries and high. I think I am on a wrong track here and thinking of ending it before it hurts me real real bad. am i right?

Yeah he's an ass. You can do better
