Persistent vs. Clingy?

How do you find that happy medium? I know some girls like it when a guy is persistent but I'm having trouble differentiating between that and clingy. I fear if I persist too much, I will be clingy and if I persist too little, girls will think I have lost interest.

So I read your little conversation with the guy who first answered you and he's kind of right. I say kind of, because women don't want to be seen as clingy,desperate or even forceful. So we try to wait for contact from you if we don't get it because you are waiting a certain amount of days to contact us we message you hoping we don't look any of the above. IT SUCKS, because men and women play this stupid little game because we think the other is playing the game. Like the guy said if she text you, answer when you get the chance to do so, if you feel that you are texting her too much tell her politely that you have some things to do and that you will text her back when you get the chance. If you decide not to text her back for a few hours or days. When you do text back if she hasn't text you since then let her know things got busy that you couldn't but kept her in your mind at all times until you could. That sounds lame but does it work. If she text you after a few hours after telling her you have errands; then take the hint she likes talking to you but you can stop the conversation at any point and time.

There is no happy medium brother. If you're clingy, they complain. If you pay no attention, they complain.. If you're aggressive it scares them off, or if you're passive they just look right past you. Relationships are all games.

So how do you play the game? If you can't be one or the either, then what can you be?

Sounds like good advice. But what happens when you get both the boy and girl playing the game of not caring, when they both actually are interested in each other? Wouldn't that be a screw-up?

Ya dude. Thing is.. girls want you to chase them. But when you chase them, they pull away.. It's push and pull the whole time. If you chase too hard, you lose out. So basically give her as much contact as you can without looking needy

Okay. So, say, this girl I'm interested in texts a lot. Should I text her every other day, every 3 days, or what?

If she texts you, text back. Don't bombard her though. Occasionally ask how her day is, and wish her goodnight at night.
