Well, I don't condone an unhealthy lifestyle, and if being healthier would make you feel better about yourself then go for it. But you dont sound unhealthy so i think he is just being an asshat. Just leave him.
I'd strongly prefer the first, but it's not about me.
Hate was your word not his and I feel like women say that kind of thing to guys all the time, like telling their boyfriend that he is average or not a looker and all that, men go along with it. Isn't this in the same vein?
Even if that was true, why should she accept his assholeishness because there's some girls out there doing the same thing to their bfs? What other girls do in their relationships has absolutely nothing to do with her. The guys on this site need to stop with the "two wrongs make a right" gender war mentality.
I definitely don't think two wrongs make a right (and I see that more in women than men on here, like "Should I lose a bunch of weight now to get back at him?" But anyway), my point was that if you think it's ok for women to talk about men like that then you'd have nothing to complain about, which is not how I feel about it. But if not, and if your physical attractiveness to him is a dealbreaker, and you want to break up, then go for it.
The guy can have a soft spot for a certain body type and not be bad. But what he said to you, that would hurt anyone's feelings. He needs to apologize to you, sincerely.
Be lucky that you're thin, stop complaining and break up with him

That's horrible. Don't ever let any man sit there and make you feel insecure about yourself. You're perfect just the way you are! You'll find someone 10x better, who will love and accept you for YOU!

Dump his ass, then you'll see how he will magically love your body again. A guy who says that to his girlfriend, whether he actually thinks that or not, is an idiot, plain & simple.

He sounds like a bad guy!! I think you are a good shape! I think maybe rather than change your body shape, you should change your boyfriend.
LOL Good advice ;)!

But for the record, most women don't do that.

Dump that asshole right away. You deserve to be with someone who doesn't make you feel like a piece of shit.

What you should lose is your boyfriend. There are like a million boys out there and there are plenty who will LOVE your body.
I think there's something wrong with your boyfriend, you should seek better because there's better out there seeking you I am sure, x
Okay you look super good. You have the body to be my gym motivation. Don't give a fuck what he thinks. You deserve someone better.
Like most people have said, dump him.
I understand preferences and all that but he's being purposefully hurtful.
Move on from that mess! Find a younger hotter guy than that 34 year old, gross!
Plenty of guys your own age would love a girl with your body.
You can do soooo much better and he sounds like a total D-bag. Dump him and find a man who drools over you.
Be lucky that you're thin, stop complaining and break up with him

Do you look like the second one? Shit, your boyfriend doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. I'd swoop you up in a heartbeat.
Does she look like or is that her I'm confused?
GIRLLL i wish i had your body type xD Don't worry, he's an asshole and you should feel superior
You tell him the same! Surprise that motherfucker 😂
Well first off I would dump him.. Second don't change your body for anyone but yourself. You don't need the body your "bf" says is best either.
Dump his sorry ass and find someone who appreciates you.
