Sometimes that just happens. I think i may have recently misjudged a conversation with a friend a few days ago as flirting and, by flirting back, kinda freaked her out cuz she didn't say anything after. So yeah, similar situation.

The possibilities are: He moved on and he will try to spend time and energy finding his soulmate somewhere else (he also has a right to be happy hehehe); He's avoiding you because he's ashamed or; He thinks there will be no way of having the same relationship as before.

I tried to date a friend of mine in the past. She turned me down. This is her right. However I'm too ashamed of having contact with her again. There will be no way we're going to hang out once again. There was a day we went to the movies together for the last time and I didn't even noticed it. Hehe.
