Why do guys think girls speaking French is so sexy?

I've heard guys saying that girls who speak French are so hot. I don't see what the big deal is.

Yeah girls dont think its that cool when I speak Vietnamese to them so I think its just certain languages (like French and Italian).. of course, to be fair Vietnamese sounds extremely weird, especially to English speakers, so I dont blame them for it. It probably has to do with the pronunciation, for instance French sounds very poetic and flows nicely. That probably combines with the stereotypes about France and how Paris is "the city of love", to reinforce the perception that French sounds nice. To be perfectly honest, I think women with French accents sound SO HOT, so I'd totally be drawn to a girl that is from France. As I said, part of that is the poeticness of their language, and part of it is assumptions and stereotypes about France that have been developing over the past few hundred years or so.

In my experience, the average French accent is nowhere NEAR as sexy as the cliche French maid accent (which is probably what most guys have in mind when they say they like French accents).

Personally, the girl's actual voice is more important to me than what accent she has. For instance, i like women with sweet, soothing, somewhat high voices. I don't however like girls who screech like pterodactyls or women who bark like a high school football coach.

If i had to choose my favorite accent however, it'd actually be British that would do it the most for me.
