Why does he stare and do nothing else?

There's this guy that looks at me a lot and I know staring means nothing, but if he wasn't attracted to me why would he stare at me for almost 3 months?
Today in the hallway he was walking behind me with his friend, his friend cracked a joke (it was a joke about the teacher in our class) and they both were laughing and I turned around to see who it was and it was the guy who and sure enough it was the guy who always stares at me, then his friend was talking To him and he wasn't paying attention to him, he was keeping his eyes on me the whole time smiling, this is the 3rd time it has happened.
* we always lock eyes everyday for 3-5 seconds
* I smiled at him once.. He didn't smile back
* He has a blank expression all day
* He's a shy guy and I'm a shy girl
* Seems comfortable with everyone else
* Stares from the corner of his eye
* His friends tease him infront of me sometime
* There's other things too it's just my eyes are sore from all day lol.

Damn this post describes almost all the things I do to my crush. If he's been doing this for 3 months he definitely likes you, I've been doing these things for over a year. So my advice is say something to him, one of you is going to have to make that first step. The long eye contact is a sign of attraction, a guy won't look at a girl for more than a second if he's not interested. His blank expression is just him being shy because he doesn't know how to act around you. I think we are all shy in front of that one person. I for one find its easy to talk to everyone but my crush and it's all psychological, we are scared of embarrassing ourselves in front of you. Anyways hope I helped.

Not true if he's shy... Men are visual creatures. They don't stare at anything they don't like to look at.
