Why do girls complain about their boyfriends all the time?

To the point where it's like, "well... why are you with him then?"

In my past experiences, in observing friends and helping friends with relationship advice, (I've never been in a relationship myself) it's a girl nagging about how her boyfriend does something she doesn't like, that they fight a lot, or basically making little complaints that suggest the guy is more of a loser than she really sees him as, even tho when she says it, it's as clear as day.

Then the "amazing guy friend" that "shouldn't ever change" that maybe even is "cute" and funny and is obviously into her, is turned down by her... What gives? Honestly...

What is love? You shouldn't be talking behind the back of your boyfriend, complaining about why he's ultimately such a loser and how you have such a dramatic relationship... What about that great guy that you have nothing but good things to say about?

But nobody knows what love is anyway when they 18-20 years old... Why don't girls just take what they ask for instead of putting up with the garbage they're always complaining about? I have a hard time believing they could be "happy" in those relationships...

I used to be the good guy friend. Now I get the hell away when this starts and focus on my own problems. Oh yeah, my problems were never a concern to them. Anyway, most of these girls are full of sh*t. You learn that they are usually the troublemaker in the relationship and the boyfriend isn't that bad. Sometimes he's referred to as an "a**hole" because he simply defended himself when she tried to give him grief. How do I know? Because these girls will eventually talk behind your back and treat you badly. Basically, you will suffer like the boyfriend. These couples are definitely not happy. It's all about what they have to offer each other which never includes true love.

Women like the amazing guy friend and they know that logically that's the kind of guy they should go for, but they are attracted to the guy that is giving them all the drama. They want their d***head boyfriend to be like their amazing guy friend which is what leads to more drama because they want their boyfriend to be something that he is never going to be.

As for you comment below... All girls really need to do is ask themselves, "Is he a great guy?" like they say the good guyfriend is, and simply give him a chance, build an attraction for him, because a lot of times, there's such great potential for great relationships with girls and their guyfriends. They just gotta take what they ask for and stop trying to change people (which isn't even love in the first place... or a healthy relationship).

But the majority of the time the guy friend is usually way too nice. Their boyfriend on the other hand let her know up front that they want to be physical with them. And even though they like you as a friend, they also like it when a guy is straight up with them. That's why they go for the asshole because he let it be known what he wanted from the jump off.

You might want to count your blessings. It seems when women get older, they stop complaining about tyou to their friends, and simply do it to your face. My current girlfriend is crazy about me and wants to spend every minute with me that she can, but, since we first met, she's been analyzing me like a pro. Everything from what I say and do, to my appearance. About a week ago, we were standing close together at her house, and she was staring at me somewhat intently (I've come to identify this as a bad sign. lol). Out of the blue, she looked up at me and said, "Your mouth is too small!" (WHAT!) Of course my mouth falls neatly within the range of acceptable sizes, but I of course also know better than to offer such a meager defense. Instead I simply stated that I hoped she could come to live with it, as it's the only one I have. I've found it easier to just accept that women have to find something to find fault with, and and to thus be content smiling at the results.

Because emotions win over logic. Logically their boyfriend is a d***. Emotionally he's the best thing ever.

Lol that's dumb... I put logic first in meeting people and girls... then if I really like the girl afterwards and I think she's a great girl and pretty and I start falling, then my emotions take over.

Girls should try that sometime... haha ;)

It's dumb for you because you are not a woman. They just can't try it sometimes because that's just how they are hardwired. Not saying every single one is, but most... yeah.
