After 2 years of being more than friends, I finally asked him what we were. He said we're nothing but friends, so my dumb self said oh we can't date. He said no, so I cut everthing off. I stop calling, texting, and having sex with him. I moved on, now 6 months later he's been calling and texting me. He said people change their minds everyday and make mistakes. He said he wanna be my boyfriend. I am honestly lost. All I can think about is why i wasn't good enough the first time. I feel like he's only back because whomever he had lined up didn't work out. It took me a while to get over him and I'm still not over him. What would you do?

Anon you need to DITCH this boy out your life. He saw you as a buffet rather than a gourmet meal. He saw you as a test drive but always saying "Ah I don't know I dont wanna buy it yet". He saw you as a someone he could fuck and ditch. Is it all his fault? No. You were more than happy to receive the D and have your eyes roll back for 2 YEARS, before asking him anything.

Sometime people are Genuine and are in a bad spot at the moment. It's possible he likes you and finally realized it was supposed to be you he loves.. Hey it happens, you think you got it then there's someone else that you meet that had every single attribute you ever wanted, and when you're around this person, you feel like you're on top of the world... thats who you should be with..

I'm not too sure. I don't think anyone would know his true motives except for him. I just feel like he wasn't around when you were hurt, and feeling rejected. So, I'd avoid him personally. However, at the end of the day only you can decide what you really want.

Sometimes people don't know how good they've got it until its gone. Maybe it was what he needed to realize how much he appreciated and wanted you in his life.

@SweatyColombian - Lol I like giving people second chances. But this is my opinion-- based on my experience. She was his friend for 2 years so its not like any random guy. For a friendship that lasted that long- it would be worth ANOTHER shot.

It likely had nothing to do with you not being good enough, but rather he didn't take the time to see it. Once you were no longer an option, he had time to sit there and really come to the realization that you were amazing and he fucked up.
