there's a guy I've liked from work for a few months and i never realized how awkward he is around me. he's awkward in general, which i like, but he seems extra shy around me.
For months he would stare at me and i started noticing and id look back at him. He started passing by a lot and i decided to start talking to him. It played out better in my head but since we are shy, we both looked at the ground a lot and were stuttering. So any time id talk to him, he avoids all eye contact with me. Some days he looks me in the eyes. Not so much though.
I thought he hated me since everyone says he's talkative. But he's only quiet around me for some reason. His boss knows i like him so he likes to call him over and bring me around when he's there. He immediately looks down and fidgets. He passes by my department a lot and its not until the 5th time that he'll say hi. If he even says hi. I've tried smiling at him when he walks by, he just looks down or tries to hide his smile and he keeps walking.
Weve talked a few times. He compliments me some days, i compliment him. Or we talk about work. I've tried to be around more. Like i make excuses to go to his department. Or his boss makes me tell him things.
Im getting frustrated though. I can't tell if he likes me or not. It seems like it sometimes. But if he did, is he most likely not going to do anything about it because he's shy? Or if he's into me, would he already have done something?
