How to know if he's genuinely interested in you or just wants sex?

I can't tell if the the guy I'm talking to only wants sex or if he's genuinely interested in me.

Study his behavior and what he says. There are plenty of ways to know which are in fact very easy to spot with a trained eye. But things you can do if your clueless in being observant and asking straight forward questions.

The Main questions you need to figure out are these:
1. How did you guys meet?
2. Where did you guys meet?
3. What type of guys are you looking for vs. What are men looking for in a woman
4. What were your first impressions during the first date vs. what do you expect on the first date and possible future dates?
5. Did you guys have 'The Talk'?

How did you meet?
The body language of men/woman approach a person if they want sex:

Did he have a mischevious look to him? A curl of a smirk? Checking you out up and down? Try to be sexually suggestive, and touching you in a provocative manner? Does he always maintain a long creepy eye-contact as if reading your emotions? Trying to seduce you, you feel immediately drawn to him against your will, but you don't know why? Is being very flirtatious in a charming manner? If it's everything or mostly yes, this means he's lusting after you and is either sexually aggressive or wants sex. Regardless what you believe whether wanted or unwanted. This guy wants sex, and he's not hiding that fact.

The body language of men/woman approach a person if they're genuinely interested:

Is his smile friendly? Seem very eager to be around you like a lost puppy? Doesn't act flirty, but shows some type of bashfulness or shyness when around you? Yes, anybody can be shy. This trait is not reserved for only Introverts. Does he behave differently around you than with other people? If not. Does he at least freely express how he likes being around you verbally, without hiding it or telling somebody else but hides it from you? Does his facial expression shows 'innocence' and a sense of wanting to understand and learn about you? Basically, anything that is the opposite of everything listed? Then he likes you. Genuinely. A person's approach is more innocent in nature.

Where did you guys meet?

Places like bars, clubs, anywhere where hookup scenes are considered are easy. You know what goes down in those places. That includes bars unless it's child-friendly places. But sadly you will get creeps who will try pick you up at family establishments just for that. Any other places, other than just being in public is up to your interpretation.

What you look for vs. What they want:

you're waiting till marriage, or have a set time, be watchful if they twitch, feel uncomfortable or the air around you shift towards. When you sense that, that is a quick sign that let's you know you either put out for them to use you for sex, get out, or they will cheat and the relationship will eventually be over.

What you're looking for:

Think about your moral principles, religion if any, views, values and what you need in a partner. Does any of those fit what you need or goes against? Be careful if they agree with you on everything without having their own personal opinion they personally believe in. Men who want's sex try to sexually impress. Genuine men want to get to know about you. All about your life and is will find a way to trust you about their personal life. Look out for omitting sentences and stories that don't add up. Unless he has valid reasons for this, it's a major red flag.

On dates:

Do they do either or for sex or genuine interest during the 1st date? Do you feel they always try to maintain some type of persona that is not their real self? You have to watch out for this one. You may end up with a master manipulator who can pretend to be either or. So if you're unsure, have a trusted intuitive friend or family member discern this for you. But make sure that you are open to honest opinions. Just like with #3 and #4. They matter to you, and what matters to you will help you with knowing what to expect on the dates your in. And #5 will explain that.

The Talk:

#4 should be about this. The sub-categories are based on what you have to find out for yourself personally from #4. Besides the usual such as hobbies, work, school, etc. He should be comfortable with personal questions about his previous relationships if it's gone sexual. If so, if he's a virgin. If not, how many partners. What are his views about sex? Does he want to get married? His view on kids.

Also to add: TOUCH and how you invite men

How does he initiate touch? Does he touch you on your shoulder gently in a caring manner or stroke your arm, touch your inner thighs, or other sexual places he should NOT be touching. If you allow sexual touches, your inviting him to still use you for sex. You gave him the okay and the impression that what you want is what he wants. Especially none verbal. I don't believe in premarital sex. It's the same as using a person for sex. That is my opinion. And therefore you won't know if he is serious about you or is in it for the sex. As long as you and him believe the same way sexually, your intentions are the same but approaching it differently. Had you not, it would be very easy to tell. Unless your naive, you'll be prey to manipulative men.

We haven't been intimate yet, but I would like to eventually. He's always asking me out for dates and planning them on his own time and he'll just mention to me that he thought of a great place for us to go/something to do. He always tells me I'm beautiful. He has also mentioned how much he likes my body. So I don't know how to feel about that part.

One of the cutest things he does though is he sends me good morning videos on Snapchat. It's like a good morning text but 10x cuter.

If he enjoys spending time with you, talking to you, paying attention to you, etc., when he knows that sex isn't possible, then he almost certainly likes you. (Note, he'll still want sex, but it won't be his only focus.)

If he only hangs out with you when sex is likely, or always talks about sex, then all he's looking for is sex.

It depends on the guy. Me personally you wouldn't be able to tell. I'm gonna tell you what you want to hear until I get what I want. BUT with that said if I'm dating a girl and I legitimately like her I expect her to give it up with in 1-3 months. I think its an important part of a relationship. It really depends on the guy like I said. Some of us are better actors than others.
