The only time I delay texting is at the very beginning of a relationship, if it seems like I always am the first to text or call her. Then I will purposely not text to see if she will text me first. If not, I end it.

sometimes. if I don't wanna seem desperate I'll wait a few, or if I don't know what to say I'll wait until I think of just the thing. I'll wait if I'm busy too, obviously.

Yeah, guys will often wait to try not to seem too keen. Also, sometimes it can just take a while to figure out what you want to say, and how you want to say it.
