Do guys wait for girls to text them?

This guy I really like was texting me consistently for 4 days, and seemed really into me. But then he just stopped texting and I haven't heard from him in almost a week. Should I text him? I was always told that men want to do the pursuing, so I don't want to initiate contact. Keep in mind, this guy is really hot and probably gets all kinds of girls...so it's possible that he lost interest or got busy with someone else. In either case tho, should I text him or just forget about him? We haven't even hung out yet, and the last thing he texted me was him telling me how gorgeous I am, so I thought he liked me.

I say text him. Me and my boyfriend were arguing about that today(well not really an argument just a talk). I'm usually the only one texting him, but because of that I just don’t text him all the time. today he texted me and I got really exited sense that never happens, then his next text was “do you hate me?” so we ended up having a long conversation about how we both need to put a little bit more effort into it.

If he is interested then you don’t want him to think you don’t care. if he’s not then it doesn’t hurt ether. Then you just enjoy talking to him. Don’t go over board though and never give him a second without his phone going off.

That happened to a guy friend of mine. He gave his # to this chick and she completely blew up his phone. He’s actually scared of her now

Here's one way you could look at it. If you don't text him it could show that you aren't interested. If you are interested send a text. Some guys do like to pursue, but keep in mind that doesn't mean every single time.

My ex-gf would never start texting me. I always did it. It always seemed like she never really cared. And that just irritated me.
