Trending & News if he likes you, he'll lie, to get you. men do stupid things sometimes.
i once told a girl she was the first girl i asked for the number of, at a strip club (when she really wasn't), just to see how she'd react.. she didn't give it to me right there and then, but, she eventually did at a grocery store when we just magically were there at the same time. anyway, back at the club, not much like 2 days later, my conscious was kicking me in the ass, and so i went to the club, and admitted i lied. i told her my conscious was kicking my ass about lying, and she was forgiving. she'll never forget i did it, but, at least i felt better about coming clean
this guy just never did. im sure his conscious is eating at him though
he loves you and boys are actually fools and doesn't know how to lie 😂 unlike girls 😏😆... so believe me he would have thought about confession but never got the will power to say it cause of fear of loosing you... better forgive him , do create a scene so that he knows not to ever lie... but forgive him in the end...👍
we haven't said "love" yet.. this was on our first date :(
Could you type more? Your post was by far the most encouraging
lol 😂 funny... OK what do you want to know.. ask I can say... my opinion on that...
Well.. he said he got 4 DWIs.. could that result in him leaving school and somehow gng back and graduating on time?
actually I have never been to collage , I am studying under some institute set up by our govt , so don't know what DWIs are. 😩
Good girl, you should never start chaos with a deployed service member, they're already dealing with a ton of carp every day!
For the question, he might have told you that so he would come off as more of a "Bad Boy" which would be attractive to a young Marine!
you can be expelled and still go back to school. either expulsion school to make up for it, a different high school or just return after a year.
but he specifically said he dropped out. Then, weeks later, I asked him how much high school he had: "1/2way through 11th grade."
Lies!
WAIT A SECOND: His class's graduation names are online in 2 separate places.. Could he have dropped out and his name still be left on the grad list? I would've thought that they would take the students no longer attending classes off the list, but it is ~1000 students, so maybe his name fell through the cracks.
w h o c a r e s tbh
is he a good husband? do you like being married to him? pick your battles, stuff like this can snowball quickly.
maybe bring it up but keep it light and casual, this isn't something to start a fight over.
I am deciding whether to get really serious with him-we are talking marriage. Honesty and trust is so important for me! I care.
oh whoops, i thought you were already married.
yeah, im just saying get his side of it before you get too accusatory.
yes.. Thank you for the help. I'm just upset at him right now. He seemed like the right guy to build a life with, so I have some hopes that might be dashed right now.

I don't think someone is allowed to enlist in the Marine Corps without being a high school graduate. Not sure why he lied.
sigh thank you-I don't either
I dont know why he'd lie to you, but is that the only reason you want to confront him? I could have saved you the problem of having to check on him, because you need a high school diploma to reach the Marines.
I met him online and just want to fact check-lol, I am going to clarify with him before confronting him, I think. Maybe he actually said, "I got kicked out." or "I quit school." These could be consonant with getting back on track and graduating.
Maybe he quit school, got his GED and then joined.
I saw online his name at his high school's online grad announcement
I just noticed you met him on-line?
Maybe he got expelled from one school and finished HS somewhere else? I know people who've done that
Since when does expulsion hinder one from graduating the following year?
His exact words were, "I dropped out." Later, I asked him how much school he finished-he said 1/2 way through 11th grade.
What?
Sounds like there's some underlining issue he's not ready to disclose. Best wishes
He said he didn't want to talk about why he dropped out? UGH boys
Lmao Don't go blaming boys, that was strictly him.
lol I know
1/2 through 11th grade might not get him into the infantry in the Army.
@Robsinsf53 marines-and yes, you defy need a diploma to get in.. Perhaps I don't remember exactly what he said, or there was a miscommunication. He constantly brings up the fact that I should trust him.. This could be because he is honest, or it could be because he is not honest and feels guilt bc of this, hence the 'oh just trust me' all the time!
Thanks for the advice!!!
I hate to say this, but the Marines are built on that code. Honor is big in the Marines. Let me say, my best friend got out after serving 30 years & we're actually having lunch in an hour. lol. If he lied to you...
@Robsinsf53 so.. what should I think
There's still a chance you didn't hear him right, right? lmao. sorry. I'm hoping he didn't lie. When does he come home?
@Robsinsf53 Halloween
You've got plenty time to figure out what to do. Don't let this consume you. You're 100%, absolutely sure he's in the Marines, correct? Thats a fu**** up question I know. But I've seen crazier stuff. You forgot to answer, is there still a chance you misunderstood him?
@Robsinsf53 yes, emma is in the marines. His dad posts stuff on facebook
Oops meant he damn autocorrect
Ok, well I'm thinking you probably don't want to confront him about anything as to take his mind off his work. How much longer he has to stay in?
He could've graduated from another school. Don't start a fight about this, it's not that serious.
But he said he "dropped out." Also, he told me his family was poor as fuck. They have plenty of money... I don't understand. He's not trying to get any money out of me... What gives?
IKR?
Yes-I shouldn't be with someone who's lying about anything at all. :)
Maybe it is a bad memory
What? If he graduated, wouldn't he flaunt that?
I'm not sure
Seems like you hace a new question about this guy every day...
lol YEAH I do trying to get shit figured out before he went to war
maybe he wants you to see him as a bad boy or something? lol thats weird
he's marine corps infantry he doesn't have to pretend
Apparently he does
Military guys aren't as badass as they would like you to believe
@BigBallerSodaPop Interesting-please, share more details. They seem pretty tough..
I've been hospitalized and done a bunch of other shit.
@BigBallerSodaPop u usmc?
No but I've broken my spine in 6 places and almost spent my life in a wheelchair. Amongst many other things.
Imaginary tough guy perhaps?
HE'S MARINE CORPS infantry lol he doesn't need to pretend to be tough
Thats just basic military training. Anyways im not talking literally here. Im saying he lied and told you he was expelled to act tough.
But... but... oh god I hate this!
What? The fact you thought his job was tough or that he lied in order to look tough?
that he lied-we were talking about marriage. I thought he was legit. Ladies-take caution! :(
Sorry to hear that.
Thanks :( I'm having terrible luck with guys lately..
Do you actually know if he's in the military?
he's sent pix of himself in the uniform. But, when people lie, it makes you question everything!
Sounds like he's lying
ABOut everything or just this?
