Why is my closest guy friend ignoring me lately?

I'm close friends if not best friends with this guy, we have been for almost a decade, but every now and then he becomes all weird with me and starts ignoring me.

just over a month ago I texted him asking if he was okay and he ignored it for nearly an entire month. When he finally rang he said it was because I said something to annoy him and that I didn't chase him enough? Anyway, yesterday morning we were mid conversation and his last message was "there needs to be more people like you in this world", i then replied and he just ignored it, is there any idea why?

i would text him and ask but i have a feeling he'll just ignore it, within all our years of friendship he has never ignored me, this is a recent thing and it's so confusing because I have no idea why he does it, do yous have any ideas?

It sounds like he is having personal issues. With that phrase of your not chasing him. He is making himself the victim while putting the blame on you.
If he was like 25 I would say that he has been losing freinds and he wants his freind's attention. However with him being around your age. He might like you and wants you to chase him for some reason. As for ignoring well if he does like you then he is having a hard time with it.

Well I think feeling he kept inside can no longer be hidden... he is being eaten up from the inside... and he wants to forget about you but he can't... he tries to tell u by implying it but you are not responding how he expects... just try to ask about relationship stuff and lets see

However, as he has already told you, you have done something to offend him. And he probably has nit forgiven you for that.
