So I have this guy friend whom I've met one year ago in college. We clicked quickly, we had many of the same interests and we just got along really well. At some point we became three (me, him, and another female friend). A few months ago he traveled to another country, but we all stayed in touch through a group on telegram. It was all going well, he and I were talking when suddenly he just stopped replying and ghosted me for a week. Mind you I didn't say anything triggering or even mildly offensive. I was being nice as always. Then when our other friend wrote something after one week, he replied to her extensively (and gave me half-hearted, evasive replies so as not to seem rude). I replied to him and now he hasn't even opened my messages. It's been two days. There's no use asking him what's going on, he denies anything is the matter and acts ignorant. I'm just confused and hurt. Why is he ignoring me?
Why is my guy friend ignoring me all of a sudden?

I should add that in the period just before he started ignoring me, he was extra sweet and attentive. So this sudden coldness really makes no sense at all.
