blocking can be done for various reasons. incase of breaking up like in my case i blocked my ex's email Skype social media everything. no, i didn't block her because she was bugging me. actually quite opposit. i was missing her so much the greed to get in touch with her was too much. the provocation to tell her to come back. n i won't lie i did a few times.

later i understood we can't hijack someone's life for our own need. my love is not an ounce kore special than any other. its just ourselfish need. so i blocked her. as a bareer to shield her from me to protect me from her. (weird sounding!)

generalizing anything is immature. be it boy or girl or any one if you do things that requires you to cut off electronically blocking is excellent tool. cheers

wow... that was beautiful. Do you think that was why my ex did that to me? We were in love but I had to break up with him because of pressure. We didn't fight or anything. I deleted him first but that was just a first reaction. he blocked me shortly after...

I do not know. Whichever thought helps you feel better. If by thinking he did it that way you feel at peace then that is the truth.

I tried to see my ex as a very nice person after breakup. and the more i thought she was great the more i wanted to get her back. I disturbed her on and off every 2 3 months. I know 100% that she has no fault on whatever happened and I wish her all the best. But now I kind of made her my enemy in my mind. Helps me forget her n thus stay away.

I am not expert on relationship so can not say if the person you were with did the thing with what particular purpose. But i can only advice to see it in the way you like it and ultimately alligns with your need.

The only time I've blocked someone is when this girl who bearing in mind wasn't even dating me started to become very obsessive over me almost like a yandere. Long story short I blocked her because if there is one thing I hate is over clinginess to the point where the other person doesn't allow you to live your life. If I fall out with girls either friends, unknown or relationship I'll just wait it out till the situation is calmed unless it's similar to the situation I just mentioned as it's more mature than not giving the person the chance to explain themselves

I got recently blocked by a guy out of the blue. He had been sending me a lot of really flirty messages and we had fun. But then I took a little longer to answer and he just blocked me on every media. I am still speechless

Guys are getting really gun shy about ghosting and likely got hurt by that in the past. He probably thought that's where it was heading with you and cut ties before it could happen to him. You didn't do anything wrong, but that may explain why he disappeared.

I had to. She would alternate between showing me affection in-person and ghosting me by text. Even though she wasn't talking to me by messenger or social media at the time, I had to break the cycle. I needed some peace and closure.

It hurt my soul to do it. I loved her, and I think she felt the same way, but I never could be sure. I couldn't live with the ambiguity anymore. I have no plans to ever contact her again. If she happens to cross my path, I will treat her with kindness, but move along.
