Why respond to a girls booty call two days later?

Started as booty call (I wanted that, he wanted more), started seeing each other exclusively, became official broke up (he did) due to personal issues, went NC for two weeks, randomly saw each other out and he didn't leave my side but no sex, then a week later I get a late night "hey", I didn't respond for another hour but then I got no response, chatted next day about if we are back to booty calls (which we never really made clear), then the next day I (very clearly) booty called him after midnight, no response that night or at all the next day but then the next evening he texts saying he had been asleep but otherwise we would've hooked up, minimal chat after which ended after I answered a question he asked.

Why respond two days later? I figured if he was actually asleep he would've seen it the next morning and respond or I wouldn't hear back until the weekend after midnight not during daylight hours on a weekday with a pointless convo

Well he asked me a question and I answered then no response and it was like a Monday - he knows my booty calls are always on the weekend when I'm drunk. Haha I was wondering that.. however any time I'm around him he's literally always touching me in some way, he gets hard pretty quickly even from kissing, sometimes finds it difficult to hold off on finishing, we never just have one round after finishing, and we both try a lot of freaky things plus he's so affectionate always after.
