sex is involved, and when I decide to stop texting or calling so I won't get hurt, he calls me. I tell him I can't keep doing this and I have to stay away because I like him more than he likes me and then he goes 'you don't like me,you never call" wtf?

He's sticking around because he is getting what he wants, a no-strings sexual deal. Why wouldn't he?

Oh, and he, like a lot of guys in this situation, doesn't really get why you too would not want to keep the sex going. Sure, you tell him you are developing feelings but you are not putting an end to the sex and your actions are speaking louder than words. By doing that you are communicating to him that the sex is too good for you to pass up and you are willing to accept that he doesn't want a relationship with you.

If you are not sure about this, keep seeing him but tell him you want to keep it as friends for now, no sex, or making out, or kissing, etc. See how long he sticks around when you stop having sex. He may call here and there to test the waters and see if he can get you in bed again, but he won't want a purely platonic deal.

Why do you have to prove you like him, anyway? What has he ever given you besides mixed messages? Tell him you don't care, make it pretty damn clear, and he just wasted entirely too much of your time. Lie, if you have to. Laugh in his face if you have to.

People might accuse me of being a bitch, but he clearly doesn't care about your feelings, and I doubt you're going to be able to resist picking up when he calls you again if you just cut him off. The only other option I see is telling him off; since it's going to be near impossible to pretend there's no emotion there, turn it into anger.

i'm in the same sh*tuation, this guy and I have EVERYTHING in common and when he describes the girl he wants to date its no joke me spot on down to the hair color, eye color, fav movies and shows yet he won't make a move and gets weirded out when I do.

Wow if sex is involved then it's obvious he's just with you because you let him use you for sex.

He doesn't care about you and never will, so stop letting him have what he wants and get out. Don't listen to his lies. He's just gonna make up sh*t to make you feel like staying with him, because he knows that way he can use you for sex whenever he feels like it.

Depends if sex is involved or not. If sex is involved, and you can't see why he would want to stick around, then wow...

But if sex isn't involved, then it's because he just likes being with you as a friend, and thinks you're a nice person to hang out with.

Just make sure you don't let him start making out with you and stuff. Or he's just gonna use you.

I'm in the exact same boat and he has confessed to having more than a friend feelings. Part of me thinks he's keeping me around for a later date when he does want a girlfriend and another part of me agrees with the other posts that he just enjoys having a friend. Time will tell

He doesn't want a girlfriend, but he wants to keep you around for the sex... so he's saying that stuff to guilt you into "proving" to him how much you like him. And by proving, he pretty much just keeps wanting you to give him more and more sex.

I'd stay away because that just sounds like he's using you for sex until he actually finds someone he wants, and once he finds someone else that he wants to be with, you're getting ditched.

Could it be that he likes hanging out with you, that he finds you to be a cool person and enjoys spending time with you? Not every relationship a guy has needs to be a romantic one.
