My boyfriend is really reckless what should I do?

I love my boyfriend sooooo much. I never had a guy love me and cherish me as much as he does. I have dated the "nice guy" before and thought that they were as nice as it would get. But he is different. He treats me so good and all he wants in return is my love. All he ever wanted from me was for me to love him as much as he loves me. It was by my own trust in him that I gave him everything, even my virginity because I trusted him so much. I could marry this guy one day. He is very careful about how he treats me because he loves me so much. My only problem is that when it doesn't concern me he can be really reckless. So reckless in fact that I have had to talk him out of doing something crazy that could get him put in prison, a few times not just once. And if I werent there to stop him he would have done those things without a doubt. I worry that one day his recklessness will be his detriment. He has done some crazy things as a teenager that he told me about. It really surprised me because with the way he treats me I was under the impression that he was a good boy- at first anyway. But he has a good heart, he is just a loose cannon and he can get wild. And right now thats about the only thing keeping me from marrying him. Because he didn't outright propose but he already told me a few times that it was my call if I wanted to get married. Which just further proves my point that he is quite reckless. I love that about him but I worry about him too. Should I talk to him about it or is there anything I can do about it?
