He stopped saying hi to me and now avoids me?

I work with this man that used to come up to my desk every day and say hello, before asking me how I am. I would always say good and then ask him, but the conversation would drop after that. When we’d run into each other in the kitchen we always said hi to each other and he’d ask about my weekend plans.

he hasn’t come up and said hi to me in like a month, and when I walk into the room that he’s in, he leaves. What do you think happened?
