I am pretty but nobody approaches me?

Ok my friends say I am pretty even the person who likes me says I am hot and pretty but at high school nobody approaches me. I am kinda shy but like I don't get why no guys approach me.

Relax.
If you attractive it will happen, don't rush it or put too much pressure on yourself.

The first thing to try is to be friendly. Even if it is hard for you, push yourself and make yourself do it.

You said you are shy? Well don't walk around with your head down all the time not making eye contact with anyone.

Start walking down the halls and looking people in the eye when you pass bye. Don't glance away, smile and say hi. Especially any guys you may like, make eye contact and smile at them, give a friendly hi when you walk bye. This can really grease the wheels and make any guy that might even remotely consider you, take a second look at you and to think talking to you and asking you out.

Don't give up. If someone ignores you and gives you a mean look when you say hi, ignore it, keep doing it and I bet you will start to have guys begin to talk to you.

This gives off a friendly, approachable vibe and more guys will feel that you'd be open to meeting them and talking to them.

It may actually be because of you being pretty. Often, if a girl is rather attractive, then guys don't approach her because they think she is already taken. I call this "Beautiful Girl Syndrome, Type II".

Maybe you should approach them. Maybe you're not easy to approach because you're shy. Guys often approach girls who look like fun and down to earth. You should look at how you present yourself, because that's far more important than looking pretty.

Sometimes we're intimidated by a girl who is so pretty, like we don't know what to say to her because we feel like there's no way they'd ever say yes to us if we tried. So to save our pride, we don't even bother. Have you ever asked someone out? Or approached someone? Probably not, right? Why do you think that is? Because it feels weird and hard, doesn't it?
