How can I convince my boyfriend to be a model? is it because he’s a man that he doesn’t want to?

My boyfriend received a proposition of an agency to be a model but he refused. It’s not the first that it’s happening because he had many opportunities to be a model! He is tall, athletic and well builded and his face is very gorgeous and symmetric. He was accosted by 3 managers that proposed him to work for him but he never accept that and that’s pissing me off because if I had the Same opportunity I would certainly take it! He is 23 and he work as a math teacher in a high school, he think that it’s not a good idea since we are going to get married and that he just want a quit peaceful life. I love him deeply but I think that it’s very silly to refuse a chance like this but he reply that he doesn’t want to get in a superficial world! Would you accepte to be a model of you had the same chance?

I was scouted when I was 14 and I can understand him completely. The industry is extremely competitive & insecure, and if he’s already 23 he will only really have prospects in it until he’s 30, 35 max.
No person in their right mind would give up a satisfying job with a stable income & good career prospect for that. It’s his decision and you should respect it.

He probably thought about it a long time ago and he does not want to be in that shallow world. It is not glamorous as most people think and he will only be treated like a thing and not a person. Maybe it is your desire to want to be part of that world by only being connected to him.

I don’t think it would be agood idea to force him what if it’s not something that makes him happy and i heard that models face a whole lot of pressure it sucks.

He has a serious job already with a long term future. He obviously doesn't find modeling appealing. Although there are plenty of male models, it's not a common aspiration so unless the money is very good, or he likes the adulation, there's really nothing there for him.
