I have known this guy for four months and since then we text every day (we live far away). I like him a lot and I would like to know if he likes me too.

He has always been really open and honest about himself with me and tells me everything.
He has also told me really personal things, like how many times he has cried this year and why.
Some days ago he told me that when he was little his parents used to fight a lot and that he would hide in his bedroom crying.

What does it mean when a guy is so open about himself? Why would a guy do that?
