I used to see an older 70 - 80 year old woman who would drink coffee at McDonalds during the day because her husband had died and she was lonely and her children could not keep her company during the day since they were busy working at their jobs. I loved her because she was very affectionate and sweet and I bought her a $20 gift card to McDonalds and I would always go out of my way to be nice to her by cleaning up after her or moving things so she could get out of her seat faster. I don't see her at the restaurant anymore. She even learned English so she could talk to me! She was Korean and I don't speak that language but a smile and a door holding act is a universal token of kindness.

My husband and I gave a friend and her daughter our extra room to stay in for months. Back at her previous residence she was being harassed by her ex boyfriend who was a gang member. he would come over and make her give him the keys to her car and would disappear for days so she'd have to struggle to get to work and take her daughter to school.
Im usually very humble about it but I pride myself on being a gentleman and I've done lots of nice things for girls just because I felt it was my duty. I'd probably have to say one of the most romantic, sweetest things I did was for my ex girlfriend on her birthday was I set up a picnic in my garden with all fairylights at night and but up a projector and we watch Up together as its her favourite movie, then I gave her a necklace and roses.
Take her to Europe on my dime when she didn't bring a penny to the ultimate traveling show

My friends don’t have very rich families (neither do I) so whenever we go on school trips (especially overnight) they’ll only come with $15-30. I raise my own money since I have a big family and my parents can’t really afford to send me on trips with money. If my friends don’t have enough money for a meal, I’ll pay for them. They usually feel bad and want to pay me back but I won’t let them. Heck, sometimes I’ll pay for other kids meals and I don’t even talk to them lol
Depends on the relationship. I traveled to England and took with me Norwegian food, made her breakfast, dinner and lunches. And some gifts I gave her randomly during the week I was there. All so she would get what she needed and to taste a bit of home.
On my school graduation day in 2011, I presented a bouquet of flowers & a thank you note to my favourite (& sexy) English teacher, after having another teacher go into the staff lounge to send her out to me in the conveniently empty hallway 💐💘
I think I've done several things but what comes to mind is that one time I bought roses for her when she was sick and dropped by to care for her.
I picked her up on the side of the road and dropped her of 5900km later on my way by
