The irony of it is: Victora's Secret was a business idea started by a man, Roy Raymond, who wanted to design a lingerie store that men feel comfortable going into to buy lingerie for their other half without feeling like a pervert just for being there.

In my experience, the salesladies at Victoria's Secret still look at you as if you're a pervert, especially if you're a lone man in the store.

So, while I applaud Roy Raymond for coming up with Victoria's Secret, the execution was and is still somewhat flawed. I personally don't feel comfortable stepping into a women's lingerie store, not because there is anything embarrassing about lingerie but rather because of the "you're a perv" vibe emanating from the salesladies.

However, that's just what I've experienced in the Victoria's Secret stores I have been in. Perhaps there are friendlier salesladies in other Victoria's Secret stores.

I don't mind going shopping with my fiance for her clothes. I just keep on my phone while following her and holding the ones she wants to try on. Then on the changing room I enter with her and get a slow strip show that I enjoy very much. Half of the time feeling my lust eyes on her she just teases me even more and we end up kissing and gropping each other for a minute or two.

First, it's not for us, we won't wear any of these.
Second, if we go inside, we'll be labeled as perverts trying to peek at women there. So we have to stay outside, doing nothing.

It's based on the norm. I am open minded and welcome the invitation and option to shop in any store regardless of gender etc. As a result of the closedmindedness of the individual it can result in a smaller pool of people to associate with.
