You are trying to get over a girl?
Thinking of a girl?
Imagining of it with a girl?
Just casually?
When I listen to love songs it's usually because I'm imagining about a guy or it's a lovely tune.
I listen to plenty of love songs. But most of them are Metal songs. But I do like a lot of non metal love songs, it’s just more rare because if the music isn’t good I can’t listen to it.
For me, I think about a variety of things. A girl I like. I might imagine it’s about her or I’m singing it to her or she likes my song and we connect over that song.
Or maybe I’m just feeling lonely and wish I had someone. That’s a good trigger for love songs. If I get really lonely I’ll listen to more metal love songs and stuff like queen or other bands with great singers.
It depends on a lot of things, mostly the song and my frame of mind.
As a teen, I used to listen to "Falling" by Julee Cruise, over and over again, imagining what it will be like to fall in love. Now I listen to it more casually.
There are songs that make me think of past relationships, love in general, past sex, future sex... there's no reason in particular, and the same song can elicit multiple emotions. Mostly I listen because I like the song 😊
I find it extremely peaceful. Glad you like it too 😊
I was thinking about this post on my drive home.
1. I Remember (deadmau5 & Kaskade) - makes me think of loves that never were.
2. Bloom (Odesza) - makes me think of the progression of sex
3. Hairy Trees (Goldfrapp) - just one continuous orgasm

Depends on the moment, situation, feeling... I personally never feel like listening to any of those songs because, well, I just don't like them as my first choice.
If for any reason I feel in love (let's say after a date), then yeah I may listen to one or two, but nothing too much. Also, never in front of other guys lol
If I'm honest, most songs are about love. It depends more on the rhythm. For example, I would very very rarely listen to Ed Sheeran, but would probably listen to You Be Love by Avicii every day.
I was on a bus in London, sat across from a guy around my age. He was smoking, with saggy pants and gigantic boots. Playing from max volume from his earphones was love story by Taylor Swift. Whether he loved the song or was trying to p-ss everyone off, I adore him <3
Well most of the songs I listen to currently, technically is singing about love. However it's a very upbeat and techno.
So... I'm not sure if that counts.
I mean like it or not I'd say the majority of songs are singing about love. Or a girl or a guy.
I usually don't liten to love songs. I prefer motivational songs lol. But if i like a love song it'll be bc ,
-if it has a good meaning/ music
-if it is relatable ( usually doesn't 😂)
- if the girl I like ( non existing right now 😂) listen/like that song 😂
- If it is from a movie that I love ( Sunflower- Post Malone )
yes I do, I listen to get the emotion and connect with the emotion. Breakup time is esp strong time.
I do thank you so much!:) If you only knew what it has been through! I love emotionally engaging songs...
I'm not much of a music person in the first place but when i listen to some i don't usually care what it is about. I just listen to whatever sounds nice. Generally love songs don't sound "the best" to me but some of them are good.
Idunno, is "Crazy Bitch" a love song?
Hey
You're a crazy bitch
But you fuck so good, I'm on top of it
When I dream, I'm doing you all night
Scratches all down my back to keep me right on
I know I definitely played Lauryn Hill Ex Factor when I was recently broken up but I do casually like to listen to love songs. U can't go wrong with Bobby Caldwell every once in a while
yeah. I just listen to songs because I like them. i like the beatles and they had love songs which i listen to just because I want to.
I don't like them as they remind me of what i never had.
Not really... it's just boring compared to other songs I listen to. Songs I listen to needs to get me heated up for action.
No they only listen to hardcore music, they never listen to anything else
seems like most songs ever made are love songs anyway. I listen to them sometimes but I try to avoid them because the sheer volume of songs about love is annoying.
I have visions of the women I love and have hurt when I trip. It enables me to interact with my memories of them like a dream. I feel them in my hands, hear their voice, and weep. It’s cathartic for me and allows me to reflect on how to love them better.
Most songs tend to be about love. We're bound to listen to them.
For me I listen to it just casually if I like the tunes
