I cook everything at our house. I'm retired now, the kids have moved away (not because of the cooking I hope, lol). Cooking is a pleasure to me, if I have all the ingredients. It's not as exacting as my career was (I was a programmer, so it's kind of a relief from that). As long as it's close enough, that'll do. Contrast that with everything having to be just so. I'm not real thrilled about cleaning up and washing dishes, though.

Ok. I am learning how to cook. I will be expert soon because i know how to cook 90% of dishes. I want to cook because i am moving to Canada soon where i need to save some money for my post graduation and cooking myself will do so. But i find it very exciting even if i burn my finger tips because of gas flame, or it gets a cut from knife during the vegetable cutting because all these pain disappears when someone says its very tasty food
