I'm falling for a player. What do I do?

So this guy happens to be one of my friends. So I know how he is. I invited him over the other day and we hung out with some friends, and of coarse his charm got me. I told him that this one guy is in love with me and he said he was gonna have to fight him for my love. The night went on and he stayed over. Cuddled all night. Blah blah blah. Anyways, when he left in the morning he kissed me and said he would text me, and he kept his word. But now it's like two days later and we haven't talked and I keep thinking about him. What do I do? I like him a lot but I know for a fact he's a player.

I have had a lot of expirence with players, and once a player; always a player. The only was to capture a players heart is to become the biggest challange he's ever had. And, even with that, you always have to keep him chasing. And that is extremely tiring. You're falling for his moves, and he's playing you by making you think you're special and that he's only done that with you. But the cold hard facts: He's probably done it a million times. You can't be a challange anymore because you already had an easy night. He won you over by a few compliments, a few heart beating phrases and cuddling. You lost his interest and he gained yours. I think the best thing you can do is to quickly get over it before you fall harder and get hurt more. He isn't good for you, or any woman out there.

If, you don't want to do that and still want him, I suggest hiding your feelings completely. Don't act like you're falling for him at all and only using him for cuddling. That will make him feel comfortable around you because he won't think the emotions will get in the way of the fun and you'll be benefiting because you get your cuddling and his attention. But there is a downfall to this; your feelings will become stronger and stronger until you just blurt it out to him, and then two things may happen;

1.) Your friendship will end. He won't contact you anymore and you'll get hurt.

2.) He'll use you as a rebound for when a relationship isn't going the way he planned. You'll also get deeply hurt.

Lesson learned? Players hurt.

Leave this guy alone. He will only break your heart. He isn't looking for anything permanent. You said it yourself, he is a player. He is only in it for the attention and transient feelings of sabotaged love. If you are looking for lasting, true love than look for someone else who actually will care for you and love you and only you.
