My boyfriend told another girl that if circumstances were different he would be after her. Should I be worried?

He spends a lot of time talking to her, they can be on the phone for hours with her, complimenting her. He even said that he loves talking to her and can't stop. He does not mention me in their conversations and he wants to buy her a gift. He ofcourse doesn't know that I know all these and he posts me every once in a while, but I don't know what to think anymore. Should I be worried?
