What would you do if your boyfriend/friend was homophobic? (Page 2)

Lets say your boyfriend doesn't like trans people or gay people. He calls trans people freaks of nature who don't live in reality and feels uncomfortable with even hugging another guy. He says hugging other guys are gross, he refuses to be physically touchy with any man. He says gay men are disgusting and he doesn't talk to weirdos like them. - what would you do guys?

i would not be with them or be friends with them, its not right for them to think stuff like that. if they try to change then maybe i will stick with them. but if they don't i won't socialize with them

Transphobia is more understandable since it is clearly a mental illness and they are trying to force their skewed version of reality on everyone else.

If my girlfriend was homophobic I would say I will break up if they don't change their point of view and help them do so. A friend I have more slack with, but they would not be a close friend that is for sure.

Well I'm bisexual and my dad's homophobic, he says he ain't but he is. I can tell. My boyfriend knows he don't care. My friends know and half of them are pan trans bi gay and lesbian

I'm okay if I had a friend who didn't think fond of homosexuals. If my friend attacked them and bullied them, then I'm not okay with that but simply wishing they would receive salvation and deliverance from homosexuality is not being rude or mean.
