He claim to be 100% straight but it’s so hard to believe when I saw him for the first time cause I was sure he was gay. He’s very handsome, take care of himself, like shopping and love stories, and he also like flashy colors, not to mention that he use creams, face masks and do his best to avoid gaining weight, and he was his body hair, cause he want his skin to be smooth.
He’s protective and sweet but I find that weird when he have some feminine mimic, but he also told me that his mom always wanted a daughter when she was pregnant with him so she dressed him like a girl till he the age of 7, and he even have childhood pics wearing dresses and make up, and he wasn’t ashamed of it but he’s very in love with me and he want us to marry and have kids, and that men never attracted him. Can a man like that truly be 100% straight?
Well personally I don't really find him to have necessarily feminine traits. Self care, dieting and keeping his skin well cared for isn't particularly feminine. Shopping and stories seems to interest a lot of people on both sexual spectrums, and flashy colors could be a sign of wanting to be flamboyant.
A person's behavior, actions, mannerisms and qualities can be a good indicator for how they might be, but unless there is something that definitively shows that they are who you think they are that ISN'T subjective (as in thinking they might take more interest in the same sex versus them actually being in a same sex relationship and saying that they prefer that) then it could really be anyone's guess.
I mean, you could expect something and then get a completely different result. It happens, and it's more common than you think.
I mean, I personally haven't had this sort of expectation flip, but it's possible. Might be improbable, but it's still possible isn't it?
Your scenario makes me think the guy may have a traumatic childhood.
I was the kid who had a Lisa Frank binder. I like bright colors. I played some jewelry collecting game with my sister as a child. One of my guitars is hot pink. I groom myself when needed, and had long hair for several years, which girls enjoyed braiding. I am in no way attracted to men, and have never even thought of them in that regard.
Men are socialized differently than women. We're expected to be tough, virtually devoid of emotion, isolated beings who are expected to sacrifice what they've built for a wife and family. The man who can admit his emotions, and express them, is a healthier individual. Homosexuality is associated with perceived femininity, from my experience this is due to popular culture and media.

Yes, he can be 100% straight. I know someone that would qualify as "delicate" but his feminine side is precisely what distinguish him from others, is his charm and somehow, amplifies his attractiveness. I'm 101% sure he likes girls.
It is very VERY possible. Just because a guy acts, dresses, talks, etc, a certain way doesn't mean he is a specific sexuality. It's a stereotype. Nothing wrong with your man, love him for who he is.

I feel sorry for this guy. Sounds like his mom really did a number on him. Dressing him like a girl at age 7 is CHILD ABUSE. That’s sick. I don’t care what liberals say.

I’m not like the guy you described. But I got some “feminine“ characteristics I have to be careful about. I have been accused of being gay and I’m 100% straight. I also have had LOTS of women try to friend zone me. I hate it. But I’ve developed radar for it.
Point being you assuming this guy is gay is very insulting to him. From what you described he isn’t doing himself favors. But do guys automatically assume that every Tom boy is a lesbian? Fuck no.

I could say so. Like I'm some what feminine and I do like most of the stuff and do some of the stuff mentioned.
I do have kids 9 of them, married twice. I have a big beard hairy chest, i also work on cars and build costom engines. I used to build houses and now I'm a farmer.

On a sidenote - It is said that for a "real" guy, there is one "blue". For "real" gals there is cyan, cornflower, azure, robin's egg, sky, cadet, royal, navy and many other "blues". Well, as a Graphic Artist for over 50 years, I'm aware of the many subtleties of "blueness" but I'm 101% straight.

Yes they can be straight, I know several wealthy men and they take very good care of themselves to. Why is self care for men hated on and seen as gay? Why can't a man like flashy colors without being gay? As far as dresses, and even the color pink, it used to be a male color and male wear for babies. There is a photo of President Franklin Roosevelt as a child in a pink dress. The only thing that makes you gay is sucking dick and taking it up the poopchute.

I agree. But he is going to get kicked in the balls over and over and over again with the friendzone when he tries to date. He will probably end up with a very controlling, domineering “masculine” woman because there has to be masculine and feminine balance for a relationship to work. He probably thinks sex with a man is just as disgusting as you and I think it is.
I feel so sorry for him. I had some feminine characters growing up and women treated me like absolute shit for it (automatically assumed I’m okay with the friend zone). But I’m not even a fraction as bad as what she described above.
@westwordbound In the modern world, most men have been emasculated in certain ways. I agree. Its gonna suck for him. I think this man, is capable of overcoming his effeminate behavior, if he is aware of it and is patient and consistent enough to overcome the abuse he faced as a child.
And I wish the best for him. Depending on how strong his mind is and how he can adapt will impact his success in dating.
I was personally raised by a very controlling mother. This made me too passive/pleasing around women. I was always nervous about upsetting her (toxic guilt) and I got in that mindset about other girls. It took me time to control my behavior on this.
@westwordbound Yeah its sad, most guys had controlling moms, but didn't have the right sort of male role models. My mom was abusive to me too. she never put me in dresses, but she would beat me up for no reason. So I understand it. If my dad hadn't passed away he wouldn't have tolerated that. And if this guy had a father who cared he would take his son out of the dress and yell at the woman
Problem with single mothers. Sorry your mom did that shit to you. My mom slapped me up a few times but when it came to physical abuse she wasn’t that bad. But she was extremely controlling and critical of everything I ever done. She wanted me to have this “image” because she literally lost sleep about what other people think of her.
I think as men we got to realize that some of this bullshit isn’t our fault but we also have a duty to correct the course ourselves.
@westwordbound Yeah we can't be victims. We just gotta move on and not be traumatized little bitches. I already corrected the trauma, and now I am fine. I forgave my mom, she apologized, and I treat women with dignity and act like a man. Its when men take abuse from women, that things get bad.
There is a guy I know frkm high school which sounds gay as fuck and even has similar mannerisms but he is actually 100% heterosexual. I was surprised but it was interesting to know.
So yes, a more feminine man can be straight but its less common.
At least it didn't make him "confused" so that he tried to become a woman. Gender confusion is a crock of garbage. I've known effeminate guys, sissies you might say, who were real men, just not a man's man, but who love women.
Of course, masculinity/femininity has nothing to do with orientation, no matter how many made-up stereotypes exist or you believe, it doesn't affect sexuality.

I have known of men like that who were married to women and had kids, etc. These were guys who you would swear would NOT be straight! So I guess it is possible.
That doesn't sound feminine, just sounds like he is taking care of himself... everyone should use creams, face masks and watch their body fat...
