Guys, Thoughts on side bangs on girls (also looking for girl's opinions)?

I really like them, but I don't look good with regular bangs/fringe, so I was wondering if this could be a better option. Does anyone know if there high maintenance?

I don't really notice any difference at all, and I doubt many other men will. We don't really care about your hair cut as long as you don't cut your hair to look like a dyke or dye it some idiotic color.

I like big bangs, but the ones at the top and bottom are terrible.
Side bangs can be great when they're straight and nicely kept.
