Of course lies and manipulations isn’t what i meant, but a little bit of mystery and suspense won’t harm the dates.” Playing around the bush” is a good way to establish relationships and build trust gradually , instead of saying your intentions bluntly.

In that case, you choose your dates meticulously, you try to direct the relationship into achieving the goal of “marriage” in contrast to playing around and having fun. Girls are not upfront about what they want either. They might not waffle as much on what their end goal is (often, a relationship) but they take their time deciding whether they want the guy or not. Guys wait, and wonder, and get friend-zoned.

It can be that too ma'am. I'm sure you are aware there's probably multiple factors that play into a man's confidence in how he carries himself. I will say it's a fear of something going bad or so. Or if they're playing the casual dating route/don't want to commit, then you probably want to avoid that. But the decision is yours

As mentioned, there's a lot of variables. I'm not sure what intentions he has with you (because I never met the guy). What kind of intuition (s) are you getting from him? If you feel like he's a player and here you are looking for something like a committed relationship, you probably want to steer clear of him.

If you're not interested, I will say to not pursue it further. However if you are, it's up to you to take a chance on him.
