My Guy friend and I have been rlly good friends for almost 2 years now. It started off on us taking an interest in each other but then it slowly became a friendship. Unfortunately for me I still reasonably liked him.. anyways, it Was starting to get to me that I knew he no longer liked me back & I was tired of seeing him flirt with other girls. So in the nicest way I could, I messaged him that I needed some time (a break) due to a different excuse (not letting him know it was because I had feelings for him) we’d do everything together, talk everyday, play video games, watch movies etc. & I really didn’t want our friendship to end because of me liking him. After I did that, he said that he completely supported me. a few days passed and I messaged him again asking if we could go back to streaming movies & he said yes but didn’t reply anymore. After more than a week I finally decided that I was dumb & that our friendship was more important. So now I’ve been trying to message him :( sending him memes like we did before etc. but now he leaves me on read or he’ll reply for a little bit than stop. He doesn’t respond to any of the things I send him and I just feel so bad. I don’t know how to approach this. I know it’s because of what I said but do I apologize? i mean otherwise he seems fine, posting like normal on social media, watches and likes everything I post.. but as soon as I try to talk to him he just responds so dry. I know he’s mentioned before that he’s cut off people from his life and now I don’t know if he figures life is better without talking to me all the time :( or he’s hurt? I don't know.. wtf do I say? I just want my best friend back where we’d talk all day and do stuff together.

By the way, I’ve already told him that I’ve missed him & I didn’t know what I was thinking. But to no avail.. no change..
