Ex? Lover? Backup? Who is she and why does he follow a lot of girls that are half naked?

Hi. I recently looked at my boyfriends Instagram account and I happened to see that he’s following a lot of girls that are half naked. Now they’re not Instagram models with a huge amount of followers.
Next, I see a certain girl that he’s following. She used to be friends with him on Facebook. I thought she might’ve been a friend to him but I looked into it deeper and I found out she dated my boyfriend before I met him. I felt uncomfortable knowing that so I told him about how it was making me feel. He unfriended her but now he’s following her on Instagram.
Im wondering why is he following her and talking to her? It’s an ex but why did he lie to me and tell me he doesn’t talk to any of his exes. I would’ve been fine with the truth but he never really gave me answers...
Why does he follow half naked girls too? It’s all his followers and following lists consist of. There’s not one guy. It’s all girls. He often tells me I should do this or that to my body. I looked at a one of the girl’s profile that’s he’s following and it’s like he’s getting inspiration from her to change me into her? I’m really confused and it’s hurting me that he’s following so many girls that are half naked and even the ex. What can I do?

I think you should dump this son of a bitch. He has all the signs of a cheater, including hiding information and being extremely controlling with you, to the point where he wants to change who you are so that you're apparently more attractive to him. I see two reasons for lying about the ex:

1. His intentions aren't noble at all, and he knows what he's up to.
2. He doesn't want to allow you to talk with guys or exes like that but wants to do so himself, so again, controlling and a cheater.

I don't see your relationship getting anywhere, seriously

Okay I understand and I see your reasons why. I’m going to talk to him about it. And see why he does that but after that I’ll leave. I had one of my exes do that to me. He gave me his phone and he was really open about it actually. His messages start coming in and he would talk to other and many girls about stuff he would do with them. Some sexually and some just like in a dating way. I never asked why but knowing he was doing that hurted me a lot. I broke up with him eventually cause even too his sister didn’t want me to stay with him... but it’s sad to know that this is kinda happening again but with a different boy.. my boyfriend.. I loved him a lot.. I just don’t understand why he would do that..

It's simple: When some guys are thirsty for female attention, they don't care about hurting other people in order to satisfy their need for attention. It happens with women too: Some people are just attention whores, and they don't make for great partners

It’s quite normal when boys follow half naked girls on ig (models in this case). But following his ex and hiding it from you is a clear sign that he is still not over his ex and shows some signs of cheating. Dump him

I suppose it’s normal but the thing is.. they aren’t like Instagram models. They’re regular girls who just happen to post their bodies 24/7 with not even a large amount of followers. I find that odd because sure if the girl has a large amount of followers it’s understandable because it’s probably her job or she likes doing that for a reason. But he’s following the girls that post half naked photos with little followers which says to me he must know them from somewhere. And yeah with his ex I don't know what that is but it’s upsetting me and hurting me.
