My boyfriend lied to me about his vacation time, is that okay?

Guys, so this Monday I found out that my boyfriend was hiding about his PTO for this entire week. The fact that he lied to me about it is a bit suspicious. If I did not come home for lunch and found out that he wasn’t home I wouldn’t find out about all his little lies. What do you guys think about this?

We’ve only been together for 7 months and I am slowly finding things out about him. I am so in love with him, but LYING to someone you are in a relationship is not good.

Well, did he lie about it, or just simply not tell you? And would knowing have changed anything? Like would you guys have had other plans? Maybe it's a case of he simply wanted some time to himself and to relax and nothing beyond that.

Yea he did not tell me about it. the fact that I found out about it because I asked.

He could have just told me the truth and I would let him be.

Also, we don’t have any plans because of Covid and I do not have vacation nor personal time off till January of 2021.

my concern is why did he not tell me. it really hurts on my part.

The question is why he felt the need to lie. Most people lie for reasons, so what motivation did he have. I take it that he lied that he was on vacation not off right?

I guess if off/vacation are the same as he never really left to go anywhere. This makes me question as to why he would lie to me about it..

I really don’t trust him anymore after this.

There should not be any dishonesty in a relationship unless if it's whether a dress is too tight.

If he lied about his PTO then you have serious problems on your hand.

I agree to that. but the fact that he is lying about this PTO to me is a NO NO!!! So if I didn’t come home for lunch to surprise him, I wouldn’t even
know about it?

no never... But he feels like we always do what I want. he barely have friends and I have lots of them. He loves to play World of Warcraft and I am not a gamer. I’m more of an Outdoorsy person

exactly my same thoughts. oh and by the way I found a mask stuck between our couch and it has lipstick on it. I don’t wear make up...

If he lied about it, than that's a problem.

It is a problem. He already lied before that “ I was the first woman he took to his house” then later on finding woman things in her house and still was in denial. You know when someone is lying because they can’t even look you in the eyes and walk away and turn it into my fault.
