My boyfriend lied to me and ruined our relationship for a trip with friends?

After spending some part of the holidays in my long distance boyfriend's city, he brought me into my city to spend the rest of the holidays here, but after that he found a lie to leave me there and to go to a trip with his friends to another country. And this country was a country that he knew I wanted to visit so much and we were planning to visit together soon and he didn't even ask me if I wanted to come and he hid it from me. He said it was because of the money, he said even he didn't had the enough money to go, and that his friends payed for his tickets, and he said he thought I didn't had enough money either and that he wouldn't be able to pay for my ticket because we are both students. I said if you go now, you will never be able to come back, and he left. Few hours later he regretted and came back but said I took my ticket to leave tonight for go to this trip with friends anyway, we talked for a while, I was hoping that he would try to fix things but no he said he can't break his friends' trusts like he broke mine and that it has been a long time since he spent time with friends (even though they live in the same city and they are in same school, same class) so I saw that his friends were more important than me and I said just leave and he left again. Now I see that he is regretting, he is saying he was stupid, and that he wants to fix things but I know that he is on this trip with friends at the moment. Does that means he doesn't truly love me? I am so heartbroken to be left out like that and I feel so worthless. He did a lot of things for me until now, but now I can't believe it was so easy to throw this relationship away just for a trip and for friends. Why he acted like that? Does that mean his friends are more important than me? Should I give him a second chance and forgive him?

Yea you are best to move on from him and not waste anymore of your time on his selfish ass, he is clearly treating you like you are a convenience not a loving partner. I think the problem, as described, is too convoluted and complex for a laypersons forum like this. That being said, I think you need to take Occam's razor to this problem and break it down into specific items, how important they may be and how much of a predictor of future behavior. I'm not even sure what it was that caused you to lose trust in him. The fact that he went away w/o you or telling you to someplace he knows you'd like to go to? Probably forgivable but what most people would feel as a dealbreaker is whether he cheated on you. It doesn't sound like you think he did or at least I didn't see it mentioned. I think beyond that and abuse most stuff is forgivable

If you’re this upset about it, leave him. I’m not sure why he didn’t communicate that to you, maybe he just didn’t feel comfortable telling you the truth because you want to be his main priority but he would rather prioritize his friends that he’s known for longer and this clearly hurts you.
