My ex lost all motivation he deleted all his accounts his friends cos i broke up with him. He says the only reason he felt worthy was cos he was with me and now he feels worthless again and that i was the only person he decided to open up and like me. I found out from his little brother that he tried to hang himself last night cos i broke up with him and now he says he has no reason to live. Im scared I don't know what to do? Help pls

I tried talking to him he's not ok. He can't afford to pay for treatment and doesn't want to. He said he's gonna try again and is dissapointed that his mom saved him last time

I blocked him after this i can't reason with him anymore he doesn't take my advice at all cos he doesn't believe i care anymore

I am sorry. I have been there. You have to CONSTANTLY keep in mind that whatever happens to him, is not your fault.
He is attempting to manipulate you into being present in his life.
Truth is that he is not your responsibility. He will keep guilt-tripping you into accepting him back in your life.
No matter what you do, he will be asking for more.

If you want to, you can contact his parents and make it clear to them that he has a serious issue.

Then block him and move on with your life.
You already did your part into trying to help him out.
Sometimes you need to choose saving yourself.

First, why did you break up? Who initiated the breakup? If it was he, then there's nothing more that you can do for him; but if it was you, why? Which one of you was the toxic one? If it was he, there's nothing more that you can do for him, other than try to get him the needed help; but if it was you, then let's see how much of a toll such behaviour would take on you.

There's nothing we can tell you that's going to really bring any positive value to your situation. Just try to contact him and reason with him to not take his own life.

It sounds like classic manipulation, however if you can contact his parents or family, pass it over to them.

failing that call the police and report it as potentially someone at risk.

basically you cannot and should not get personally involved, pass it to his family and emergency services.

Hmm I was suicidal myself. First of I think it is wrong that he blames it on you since it is definitely not your fault.
There is also nothing really you can do about it except maybe supporting him and advising him to get treatment.
