Why are guys so logical?

To start, men have always been the ones who had to do the dangerous, often deadly or severely life-shortening jobs and tasks: hunting, soldiering, construction, mining, sailing, etc. These jobs/tasks are often terrifying, yet we had to keep it together and focus on the task despite our fear. This means we had to learn to have an iron grip on our emotions - it's not like we don't HAVE emotions, but rather, we learn from an early age to maintain control over them, and over time, we've evolved to be less emotional and more logical.

Women, of course, had a very different role through most of history, and while for most of history, women still had some legitimate realities that they had to face (attackers, childbirth, etc.), men have GENERALLY always done their best to protect and insulate women from those ugly realities as much as possible - doing whatever they could to protect her and enhance her comfort and safety.

Things really changed post-WWII, though, especially in the US, with Europe lagging a bit behind due to post-war rebuilding. Technology really changed women's lives and turned what previously was a full day's worth of hard work (imagine doing laundry by hand with a scrub board, or having to build a fire in your oven to cook a meal, and having to moderate that fire to get temperatures right) into a couple of hours at most. This freed women to do other things - like shop and spend money - that most women really couldn't do before, and the female-focused consumer market absolutely exploded, whether it was clothes, makeup, jewelry, perfume, purses, shoes, home furnishings, and even cars.

But, increasingly, a LOT of women have been able to live a life very divorced from the harsh realities of the world. Women are largely protected from failing via an endless amount of government programs, for example - but men do not quality for almost any of them. Men learn early on that the general world does not care about us - we're considered to be disposable and replaceable - and no one will be coming to save us. We can easily find ourselves quickly going from a comfortable life to living on the streets if we make a couple of foolish or short-sighted decisions, and, perhaps aside from our families, no one else will care, and certainly the government won't care.

Men do nearly ALL of the jobs where the harsh reality of life is a daily companion. If a mechanic does something wrong, the car won't run. If he does something really stupid, he could have a transmission or drive shaft fall on him and maim or kill him. An electrician could get electrocuted, or cause a building to burn down. There's endless ways an oil field worker or refinery worker to be maimed or killed. Construction workers get horribly injured all the time. You get the point. And there's no one coming to help us if we didn't plan for (and pay for) help up-front.

So many women don't have to face those issues, because either a man will save her, or the government will. And this has allowed a lot of modern women to be completely in denial of the real world - the world that men live in and struggle with - and so a lot of women no longer appreciate what men deal with, go through, and risk. I know some women pay attention and have appreciation, but even if you're one of those women, you know damn well that a lot of women YOU know have zero respect or appreciation for what men go through. So, men really have no choice but to operate on logic and facts - we can't afford to run on emotions, because it's too easy to make a life-altering mistake, and we have no one to help us if we do.

We men are logical. Being logical, rational and going by facts is the best way to go about things and while taking decisions.

Emotions, feelings and sentiments are useless as far as taking decisions are concerned. They cloud a person's judgement and thought process and can make you believe in things that you yourself know can never be true.

Of course you can disagree with what I am saying but my opinion doesn't change. It may come as cruel to you but in life at least sometimes one must know how to make difficult and tough decisions, if not you will be seen as weak.

Well, that is not very hard at all. In general I would say as compared to men, women are better are communication, both non-verbal and verbal communication also. I cannot say about other type of women but in my view it is certainly easy to understand a woman who is nice, sweet, kind, caring type. Such a woman will most love PEACE, will like cuteness and so will surely love teddy bears also. Such a woman will be easier to make happy, will be easier to assure her that she is loved and cared for.

This type of woman all she would want is loyalty, assurance she is always loved and cared for, getting her gifts and teddy bears. Such a woman is easier to make up to as she will love little things in life and appreciate them as well.

One more thing which is not hard for any man to understand is the women dislike any and all type of lies and dishonesty. They always want men to be honest and truthful to them. All women are like that. They value " TRUTH" a lot. Hence the easiest way a man can make any woman trust him is by always being honest and truthful to the woman right from the beginning irrespective of the consequences. Any woman will appreciate such a honesty.

Hence there is no secret, only logic and some research is needed for a man to understand a woman. It is not tough at all.

They’re logical, because it is in their biology. They’re meant to be leaders. Women are emotional because we are meant to bond with our babies and develop love there. When it comes to dating, logical men are best described as “not in love”. When they’re logical and thinking clearly, they’re not affected by the woman they’re dating, but when someone (men) fall in love, they become emotional beings too and sometimes that emotional side repels women, because it comes off as feminine, which it is as it’s women who are emotional intrinsically.

So i don't think men are more logical than women it's just that they lack the emotional side. Men have no real need in nature to be emotional. Women need emotions to understand and empathize with their babies. I think this also plays a big part in why women can understand men so easily yet men can't understand us. They don't have any skills to decode another person's emotions like women do.

Thank you for asking this question thank you for wording it the way you did,, I answered a Question the other day,, and after I sent it , the words kinds ran through my minded again,, and I said to myself I hope she doesn't take it wrong, because it was bold and to the point.
I don't know if I am a good communicator or not. But I try to do is just say it how I see it
It's more or less cut-and-dry I don't try to be right I don't try to be wrong I just say it how I see it and I have to understand that the person I'm talking to is going to see it their way and I have to understand and respect that too so in knowing that annoying basically what her answer probably going to be that's how I communicate to her there's no wrong there's no right way there's a Bestway and the best way is to don't try to belittle anybody don't try to hurt anybody don't try to Power Trip anybody best way is to communicate about it Let each other know how you feel , accept it and move on

It can take some time to find a balance, and if you're thinking of cruel, well... maybe you ran into people that are very dogmatic on these ways, and that usually means no balance at all, it's their way or the highway, But not every man is like this, I certainly am not like that, or at least I can tone it down... lol.

There's a concept out there called "cognitive flexibility" that involves adaptability, awareness and confidence... all these apply to be able to adjust or "switch" in our ways, in order to connect and relate others that can be a bit different than what we are, so like I said... more balanced people are out there, they exist. Not all men are strictly logical, and some are just plain, inconsiderate dumbasses that lash out as cruel, that's also true.

It's how our brains are wired. Just like women are more emotional. We are both capable of being logical and emotional. Guys just have a more natural bias towards logic. Women have a more natural bias towards emotions.
As for why are guys so logical. I think it's because of the evolutionary traits of being hunter gatherers. Back in earlier times it's logic and spatial awareness that allowed us to be the provider. In today's world we are still the provides most of the time and it's also part of our protective instinct. Which is also partially emotional.

It's the right brain vs left brain dynamic. Left brain is the logical brain (masculine) and right brain is the creative/emotional (feminine) brain.

But I don't think that's a free pass for anyone. No one is 100% right or left brained.

So if a guy fails to take feelings into account or a girl fails to think logically, they are both wrong and should grow up.

We are simple. So simple, that most women cannot believe it and refuse to believe it.

It's not even that guys are logical - we're just simple. If A leads to B, then we're at B. The last thing we're going to do is start wondering how C interferes with D, and whether F has a relationship with H because of something G did to J, and then wind up at Q wondering how A led to this.

Anyone that is cruel is just very evil. A person that is too logical will have a cold heart; a personal that is too emotional will lack sound logic.

Most people aren't extreme with being too logical unless they are psychopaths with zero empathy.

There's nothing unkind with being logical. If you're just trying to be wishy washy emotional with people all the time you'll end up hurting them far more than if you'd just give them what they need rather than want, which is what is logical.

Logic deals in truth, truth is important. Deriding logic shows your not interested in the truth, you are only interested in what you want. If we don't deal in truth, what should we deal in? Lies lead to bad results.
